Pingle's Farm offers a range of school tours for students in grades K-3 that meet Ontario curriculum expectations. Book your tour now by emailing, faxing or calling between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

All tours include an interactive lesson, picking or planting, a tractor wagon ride and time to explore the fun farm and animals.

        Plants, Plants, Plants! Tour - (available May- mid June)

        Strawberry Tour - (available June 15th-June 30th)

        Amazing Apples Tour - (available September to early October)

        Pingle's Pumpkin Tour - (available October)

        Farms are Fun Tour - (available May-June & September-October)


TIME & COST:
 
Tours are 90 minutes in length and cost $7.35 per person (HST included)
A minimum tour cost of 15 children applies to all tours. 
Parents and siblings cost is $7.35 per person (HST included)

TOUR DESCRIPTIONS:

Plants, Plants, Plants! Tour
Students will learn about what plants need to grow! A tractor wagon ride will take you around the farm to observe the many crops that grow on the farm.  Students will plant a seed in the greenhouse to take home!  Time to explore the fun farm and animals is also included.

The Strawberry Tour
Students will learn about bees and how important they are to strawberry plants.  A tractor wagon ride will take you out to the strawberry field to pick berries.  All student receive their own container to take their berries home.  Time to explore the fun farm and animals is also included.

Amazing Apples Tour
Students will learn about how apples grow and how bees help to pollinate them.  A tractor wagon ride will take students to the apple orchard to pick apples.  Students will receive their own apple bag to pick a few apples to take home.  Time to explore the fun farm and animals is also included.

Pingle's Pumpkin Tour
How do pumpkins grow?  Students will learn about how pumpkins grow and other crops that grow on farms in the fall.  We will discuss the importance of our friends, the bees.  A tractor wagon ride will take students to the pumpkin patch to pick their own pumpkin.  Time to explore the fun farm and animals is also included.  Please bring labeled plastic bags for students to carry their own pumpkin home.  

Farms are Fun
All of the food we eat comes from a farm!  Students will learn about what comes from a farm and how important farms are.  Children will make their own butter to take back to school to taste test.  A tractor wagon ride will take students around the farm to observe the many crops that grow in our fields.  Time to explore the fun farm and animals is also included.
